Key fob replacement and reprogramming

I am unable to start my XF as it is not recognising my keyfob. I have only one key for this vehicle. I think I need it reprogramming or replacing. Does anyone in the forum have information of the best and cheapest way to get keyfobs reprogrammed/replaced please? It is a 2017 XF sport and I am in the Gloucester area.

Just change the battery then put it in the porthole on the drivers side under the dashboard then it will reconnect the keys

I have tried that already, doesnt work unfortunately. Thank you for replying though.
