Hi just joined, I'm based near to Neath up in the valleys. Looking to purchase an  XJ 3.0d on or around a 17 plate any advise and what to look out for would be gratefully received.

Welcome to the Club, Graham.

I used to spend some time in both Neath and Port Talbot in the days when there a lot of Steel.  I was a member [and still am] of the ISTC now Community and retired in June 1999.

The XJ is the car used by the Government Members and is real class.  I have an 2007 S type which I have driven for almost 9 years and still runs very well.
