I replaced the Battery, I replaced the Ignition switch and removed the key cylinder into the new switch, and went through the Passive Anti - Theft System Diagnosis  Flowcharts. Since the PATS Flash a Code 11. B1681 from my Code Reader.

Hi Can I ask if when you switch the ignition  key on is there any lights on the dash + is there any side lights etc ???

If not I would say you have a earthing problem where it goes the Body ????

This particular problem has really got the best of me. I guess that’s why there’s a Technical Bulletin out on it. But I know there’s got to be some smarter people on this Forum than I. I don’t want to give up and take it to the over pricing Dealership.

Yeah, security light blinks rapidly and then gives a Code 11. The ignition switch housing comes with a new Transceiver made on it. I thought after replacing the new Transceiver  that would do the trick. It all started when I let an old Battery stay in Vehicle too long. After replacing the Battery and other parts, it still have not cranked since.

hi

I would check all the wiring by testing it back to the ecu

could be a break in the steering column wiring and you have disturbed it, would also try the old pickup coil of the old ignition switch, I'm sure they come off and can be swapped.

if you need any wiring diagrams to check the wiring look here http://www.jagrepair.com/

when did it last run and what did you do after that stopped it starting.

cheers

Joe

I would agree with O.T.H possibly a ground issue check all the connections, if not possibly the transceiver switch (image below).  worse case scenario a bad module which correct me if im wrong but is part of the instrument cluster.
