Hi all i realy need help with my misses car its a x type jag 2.2 tdci saloon. I have had ecu checked,loom,removed and cleaned the earths by both headlights,egr changed,ABS pump changed also changing the cruise control on the steering wheel. As when i start car up cruise control will come on dash,coil light will flash,ABS light will come on then engine run lumpy. Any help with my problem please.

Your best place to start is to make certain that the battery is fully up to strength as Jaguars suffer when battery condition or charge is low. (Big drain even when used regularly) 

You then need to get a reading with an OBD2 reader. Theses can be obtained relatively cheaply from the likes of eBay or other well known sites of similar nature. The codes, if any there, will give you a good clue as to the starting point.

When I first picked up my car from the dealer it flashed up "Cruise control not available " for the first couple of miles, The car had hardly been used in the previous 2 years and I think it needed a good run to get the battery level up. Been fine since. (Touch Wood)
