Thank you all for your kind comments.

Hi John.

I used Bilt Hamber (BH) Surfex HD at 10% dilution in a pump action spray bottle with a small amount of BH auto wash to help with foaming.

This was sprayed over a cold engine and agitated with about 8 different types/styles of brushes.

When clean, the engine was gently rinsed off using a shower pattern from a garden hose nozzle.

It was then blow dried using a Bigboi blower.

Once dry it was lightly sprayed with Aerospace 303 protectant and wiped down with a few, The Rag company, microfiber cloths. To aid dying the blower was used again.

All painted surfaces within the engine bay were then decontaminated  with fallout remover, clay barred, degreased with 8% Isopropyl and coated with BH double speed wax.

Thank you very much for the very excellent details of "how and with what". I will look into these products and hopefully treat my S-Type.

Best Wishes and Regards, John
