2000 Se V6 engine size?

Hello all,

Just bought  the above car with 36,400 miles with only one previous owner and it's been babied all it's life. Some minor faults but I absolutely love it. 

One question though -  I'm sure it's a 2967cc V6 petrol engine but the V5 says it's a 3967cc  V6

Is that a mistake on the V5, or am I missing something?

Would appreciate any advice

The V6 is a 2.5 engine.
