Hi All,
Bit of advice needed I have a 2008 XKR and although I have no lights on the dash I thought I would check if there was any codes as she has started to have a bit of a rough idle but despite that she runs and pulls fine.
She has come up with two error codes (Please see picture) can anyone point me in the right direction as to a fix ?
Thanks.

I'm having similar problems with my xj8. I get Low coolant, low Oil pressure, and no reading on fuel gauge,  on my instrument cluster. I've tried all sorts of ways to clear the faults as I know that they are false reports there's nothing actually wrong with any of them. If you get any info I'd appreciate a heads up.

Thanks

Consider possibility of Parasitic Discharge which often causes  false readings, codes, messages etc etc . Jaguar electrics are often prone to this action. Regular use of a CTEK charger/re-conditioner, as used by many on this forum including myself, often cures the problem.

Thaanks John. I'm not sure what a Parasitic discharge is exactly. Am I right in thinking it is the green corrosion fond on battery terminals?

Thank you very much for answering my query. I have just recharged my battery, which is about 2 years old and cleaned the terminals. I'm now looking into the CTEK charger/re-conditioner.

Assuming your car is fault free, when fully locked there is a natural discharge of 30milliamps, anything above this figure is considered to be a parasitic drain due to a fault.

If you do have a “parasitic drain” then all a CTEK will do is mask the problem, although it will keep your battery charged.

Thanks again John. I don't think I have a parasitic discharge, although I don't know how to measure this, but my fault is continuing and I believe it will fail due to this when M.O.T'd.

So far I have tried disconnecting battery and shorting the cars earth lead. No difference. I bought a ctek  and recharged the battery, again no difference. I haven't tried to give the car a long run, as I believe is necessary after disconnecting the battery , could that be the problem?
