Gearbox fault error and glow plug light flashing

HI Everyone Just picked up a mint (or so I thought) x-type 2.2 auto sport premium . Drove lovely for the 100 mile trip back but got into it this morning and put in to drive it went clunk and then gearbox fault and glow plug flashing! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
