Auto headlights

Have a problem with auto headlights staying on in bright weather any information would help thanks

Hi Rick ---I may have this wrong ?? but if the auto headlights are made to come on auto when it gets dark

surely when it gets bright  they are made to go off ??? But saying that I haven't got them so just thinking out loud ???

Quite right, that is the designed intention of the lighting function. However could it be that a sensor is not working correctly and therefore not distinguishing between light/bright and dull/dark ?
