So, everything working well with the Jag lately. Recently serviced, cam belt replaced, cross over pipe replaced. Battery being charged regularly.

All of a sudden, my bluetooth to my phone drops out. To the point where the screen asks me to search for a new device, but when selected, nothing happens. No search. Nothing.

I am hoping it is as simple as a fuse, but any ideas otherwise please?

Ok, worth a try…

If your car is of the older variety, there is a b/tooth module below the passenger seat. This can suffer from water ingress. Check for damp carpets

In newer cars, the module is in the centre console

And in even newer cars, it’s built into the music centre bit - can’t remember it’s name…

so, what I’m saying is - it’s probably a duff module!

Thank you. It's a 2010 model, so I guess it's under the seat. Is it easy to replace?

I think you’ve got unbolt the seat at the front and tilt it back, then you can get to it

check for dampness in the area
