Location of the Onboard Diagnostics (OBD-II) socket

Hi all, can anyone tell me precisely where the OBD2 socket is on my 2009 XF 250?  I've looked under the dash above the pedals/close to the central console, as described, but can't seem to locate it.  Seen on youtube where it is on left-hand drives, and assumed it would be similar on t'other side but no joy.  Mind you it's difficult to get your head under there!

If you look under the dash on the drivers side next to where you would put the smart key it is there , hope that helps
