Body Control Module

I have recently (3 weeks ago) taken my car in for its MOT. I knew the rear left light was not working so asked them to change the Bulb prior to the MOT, only to find out that according to the garage, I need a new Body Control Module, without which the rear light wont work and therefore cannot pass its MOT. I have a 1999 S Type. The garage have tried Jaguar who don't have this part any more as the car it too old. I'm not a mechanic but obviously I'm in a situation where I cant use my car as it has no MOT. Can anybody help with sourcing this part or giving me other ideas? It would be much appreciated. Barry
