can some one tell me if there is a batt charger that does not have to be plugged into the mains as i cant get near my house to use one one that could charge whilst fitted to battery thanks await reply.

You can buy portable chargers, the AA etc carry them to jump cars, dont think they are particularly cheap and dont think they charge you battery by much I am afraid.

Have heard solar trickle charges are good once battery is charged.
