Hi,
I took delivery of this amazing machine after yearning for one for years and love it, it's exceptional!

For the life of me, I can't find where the Sat-Nav unit is so I can check how old the disc is before searching for an up to date one (though have heard they're embarrassingly expensive?) so the system is as up to date as possible, if affordable.

Can anybody point me in the right direction/location, please? There is a panel in the boot on the right as you face it but that's a fuse box!?

Many thanks,
Alan.

Has anybody any advice, or have I paid £19.99 and chosen the wrong owners club, not a problem, I'll ask for a refund and go elsewhere as the entire site appears to be virtually dormant; disappointing.

You should be able to find the SatNav DVD player behind an access panel on the left hand side of the luggage compartment.
If it is not a DVD drive unit then it will be a Hard Disc Drive unit (found on facelift models)

Avoid cheap SatNav discs/cards as they can corrupt the system and expensive to resolve.

Here is a video to update your SatNav (if applicable to your version)

Thank you for your response. I do not have a DVD where you suggest it should be so will need to investigate the status/version of the HDD version and how to update.

Thanks again.

So there's nothing in the user manual and I can't seem to find out where then SD card is located as it's not in the compartment where the Aux/USB under the arm rest, I don't suppose anybody here can guide me to it, please?

Surplus to requirements but, thanks for taking the time to provide.

An update.
I have the HDD system so, my options are to revert to Waze or, get wholesale ripped off by buying an update from HERE Navigation (not in UK) which comes as a USB stick for £169 + £11.50 delivery which is the latest (and last!) update available and it's dated 2020 so, three years out of date.

No fussed if this makes me a bad person but, that is an absolute mugging and very poor so, have raised with Jaguar CS.

I have a cupholder mobile phone holder should I not be able to get a reasonably recent Sat-Nav update, I'll simply use Waze; which is updated daily with live incidents and warnings like parked car, debris in the road, potholes, works perfectly every time and it's free!

I will see what CS come back with but, confidence that Jaguar are able to support a customer in such an instance is very, very low.

I think this is the dilemma that owners of most vehicles with factory satnav have with expensive updates or reverting to the likes of Waze or TomTom.
TomTom do a very reasonably priced satnav for mobiles and works offline unlike so many of the others so you don't have to rely on a phone signal to know where you're going.

I've researched other manufacturers and none of them want to swerve their customers to a 3rd party rip off merchant that want to charge ridiculous money for an update that's more than 3 years out of date, that's the disappointing part.
