Just Purchased 2005 4.2 V8 SE Petrol Auto 45k Miles

Hi all,well back in the Jaguar fold after a few years with Mercedes.

Just had to come back to a Jaguar for all their irritants,but they are a comfortable drive.

There are a couple issues i need to address i.e. rear passenger door will not open from inside or out,rear headlining starting to droop,

wing mirrors need lubricating and the radio seems not to respond when pressing the buttons.It has been stood around for a couple of months

so i have it on my c-tek charger to hopefully bring the battery up to full charge,if it won't i will get a new battery as i know how fickle our s-types are.

The car has a full service and repair history mainly main dealer,a gearbox service has been carried out about 9 months ago, wax-oiled front to back.

great cars, there getting to age now where they need some tlc,

regular maintenance usually keeps them going well,

mines been well looks after and has been very reliable
