How do I switch off lane keep assist and KEEP IT OFF? I drive on many narrow roads so have to drive near the edge but the car determined to direct me into the middle of the road.

On your model year, I don't think it can be permanently switched off ?

It will come back on by default every time you 'start' the car. 

We had a customer experiencing the same issue, JLR do not allow dealers to deactivate it.

 

It is probably classed as an essential safety feature, for type approval or some other certification ?
