I have owned a 2007 Jaguar XJ 8 Vanden Plas for 9 years and still don't know what these items are (see photos). I have the owner's manual but cannot find any reference. The gadget in the first photo top left.

The 2 round holes one on each side above the reading lights. Photos may reverse when posting but the gadget is top left in one photo.
