Hi There,

Just wanted to introduce myself, and say hi, i am james and i have recently bought this 3.0d XF for me and my family, having gone from hot hatches to this sensible family saloon has been a adjustment, aside from getting ripped off i have loved every second of owning this car and my fiancee and kids love it too, its so quiet and comfortable and hope to make it my own in the coming months

Thanks so much Norfolk Ian, i aint going to lie she tests my patients so much, and i shouldve spent a little bit more on a nicer example, but once all the problems are sorted then she shouldnt need anything for a while, and i am really into car photography and can capture some amazing pictures, it all started from my focus st and instagram haha

I was very lucky with my XF it had one previous owner from new, full Jaguar service history and 38k miles. Since buying in October I’ve had her detailed and changed cam belt. So far so good no issues at all, everything works and she’s a joy to drive. Puts a smile on my face every time I take her out. I’d always want a Jag so decided at 61 it was now or never.

exactly that, lifes  too short to not do the things you want, we narrowed family cars down to the xf and a a4, and with the a4 being 400 pound more to insure the jag was a no brainer, i just wish i wouldve done a little more research and not bought the one i have

hi john, it has a multitude of big problems, the most significant being the inlet manifold or cam cover some people use different sayings, and i have been quoted 2.2k-3k already, and i have just found out my fiancees pregnant so wont be fixing that anytime soon, possible egr and dpf clogged, i am now on the way to pick it up after sorting the dpf so thats good, but there car itself its amazing done 64ish mpg on a 200 mile trip and is so quiet and comfortable, it also has a check pedestrian light, which i have been told is a sensor module of the bonnet airbag
