Hi Everyone

I have a 2010 Jaguar XKR, and i have just got a Adaptive Dynamics Fault come up on my dash board and my suspension has become very hard.

Any advice would be greatly received.

Regards

Shaun.

Hi Shaun, you need to get it plugged in to a suitable Jaguar specific diagnostics unit to obtain the stored codes, otherwise it will be a case of chasing component replacement which becomes increasingly expensive.

Hi Shaun, you can try, if you know a good independent, but the Jaguar suspension system is unique in some respects, so you may need to resort to the Auto Logic or Jaguar Diagnostics to get a full description fault code. Good luck.

Evening

Ive had the car on the Jaguar Diagnostic and it’s come up with left hand front height sensor, would anyone know the best place to buy them from?

Hi Shaun,

i recently had a pedestrian sensor go on mine and the price for that from my local Jag dealer was the best price i could find, even second hand ones on eBay were more expensive.

By the way when i pulled my old sensor out i was surprised to find it was an aftermarket part without the JLR logo like the new one had on it's label, obviously Chinese crap which is why it went bad.

So, suggest you try your local Jag dealer first and beware of aftermarket lower prices if you see them on line!

Well what a struggle to find a sensor!!
Phone Jag with C2D23151 and they come back with £145 6 pin, go on Brit parts with same number they say £155 6 pin. I took the old one off today and I have a 3 pin go on line with C2D23151 and they come back with a 3 pin at £50!! Please see photos below. Talk about confusing!!

Regards

Shaun
