Seeking Advice on Rattle from XF 2016's Exhaust

I'm reaching out to the community for some insights into an issue I've been facing with my 2016 Jaguar XF. Recently, I've noticed a rattling noise coming from the exhaust system, and upon inspection, it appears there is a crack near one of the rubber hangers, and the hangers themselves seem worn out.

I've taken a video of the rattling sound and a few photos of the affected area. I would greatly appreciate any advice on whether this is something I might be able to fix myself, such as replacing the hangers, or if it looks like a more serious issue that needs professional attention.

Has anyone experienced something similar? What would be your recommended approach to resolving this rattle? Any suggestions or recommendations would be hugely appreciated!

Hi Jay, well the rearmost hanger definitely looks shot, so replacing that would be a first step I reckon. Not so sure as to why the rattling ceases when you clamp the gap in the hanger back together. Unless there is a metal to metal contact point somewhere in the same area.

@N6 JMX yeah i thought that looked fairly loose, im thinking to try a cheap replacement there and see if it improves/reduces the noise, if so, then get the official ones to put on, I checked the mount (rubber circle mounts) and they are in solid condition, will share an update on replacing that back hanger, see if that helps!

Didn't resolve, it really sounds like that rattle is coming from the muffler box, when i lift the rear exhaust system, the noise completely goes

Hi Jay, in that case it is more than likely that the internal baffles have been dislodged and the solution would be a new rear silencer.
