When I start my 2013 3.0d sportbrake from overnight cold start, within 100 metres, it stalls, EML light displays along with a red triangle warning, which displays “engine systems fault ".

The car restarts immediately and will run and restart all day, without problem, with EML lit. My code reader shows only one stored fault, which is," fuel rail /system pressure - too low".

Has anyone had the same or similar?

Thanks for your time in advance. 👍

Hi Arthur.

Sounds like a problem I had on wifes Pug 208 where there was a tiny leak in the fuel line leading to the high pressure pump allowing air into the system when allowed to stand overnight. Once started it was fine as the leak did not have time to allow sufficient air into the system to cause an issue.

Regards John
