Jaguar Classic Event - Being Held Marshall JLR Lincoln

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Thank you for welcoming me into the group.

My name Kyle Abel and I’m the Local Business Development Manager here at Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Lincoln

Today I’m sending out enquiries to Local Classic Jaguar Owners Clubs about a Social Event we’re looking to host in and at our showroom in October. This is going to be a Jaguar Ride and Drive Event using our current demonstrators for people who attend but also The General Sales Manager and I have had the idea of Celebrating Jaguar in all its glory. As the main premise and reason for this event is to do this celebration in the Sun-set of Jaguar as we know it now before its re-birth next year.

Our idea for the showroom is to create a timeline of cars throughout the 90 years of Jaguar history buy looking to inviting Classic Jaguar Owners and invite them to bring them to the dealership to help create this display inside.

Of course we will be happy to provide tea, coffee, refreshments, and food for the day. I have already invited Lincs North & South Jaguar Enthusiast Clubs too, Lincs & Rutland XK Enthusiasts Club and Jaguar Drivers Club. Which I am assuming many of you maybe part of?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Kyle

I live in Lincoln and have a late 2014 XKR-S. Not sure if that’s what you’re after for your display but would be happy to bring it down if interested.

If not I might pop down anyway and take a look.

Just a running update for anyone who has noticed this post and maybe considering still, I have a smaller amount of information coming through about the event.

 - We're looking at having a prominent motoring vehicle spokes person as a guest speaker, with a short list being worked on but there are various high profile stars who could be an option

- I will be having a meeting with some of the high up's in the Marshall Motor Group to really expand this event next week

- Dates as they stand are looking to be between October 10th and October 13th.

Please feel free to message me for more details, email myself at [email protected] or connect with me on LinkedIn

Many thanks,
