Roof Console Sun Glasses Storage

Hi,

In the roof console which has the sun glasses storage, my sun glasses storage does not close. The little clip is broken. I remember having a similar issue years ago on another S Type and someone was able to recommend where I could get a replacement. I think it was by Toyota.

I don't want to resort to blue tac or anything else, I just want it working properly.

Any help greatly appreciated.

If the console is removed and the drop down pocket accessed, the spring can be biased to closing the hatch. It means that when it is 'opened' it only drops slightly and the clip can keep it shut whereas normally it cannot.
