Hi, I've always wanted a xf. Got the chance to buy one cheap with problems, however the engine seems to be breathing really heavily, is it worth fixing and how much roughly am I looking at please

We need quite a bit more info to offer any help.

Year, Engine, Price, Mileage, What do you mean by "Breathing really heavily", Have you read any error codes, Any warning lights, etc etc?
