I have the same problem, I just unplug the connectors from the ep module then plug them back in, it’s located in the boot drivers side behind the panel cover, just unscrew the luggage hook and remove the fir tree plug, first time was difficult to remove connectors so I rubbed some lubricants on the side of the connectors, now it’s a 2 minute job. I am booked into a local jag specialist next week, I hope they can solve this common problem on the s-type, good luck. David.
