Front wheel noise

Hi. I have an annoying problem with a clicking noise coming from the n/s wheel. It gets louder the faster the car goes. I've checked to see if there are any stones trapped in the tread or a nail/screw in the tyre. Any suggestions before I decide to get it booked into the garage would be greatly appreciated.
