We find it very hard to believe but the Jaguar/Land Rover Franchised Dealer in our town refuses take in

any Jaguar model over 10 years old for service. They issue the excuse that when they took over the multiple

franchises (Audi, Bentley, Ferrari etc) they changed computer systems and have no information on these

models. I'm retired from the Car Business and I can't believe that the Manufacturer would condone this!

I presume this doesn't happen in Jolly Old?

Hi Norm, no - my XKR is coming up for 15 year's old and still goes to the Main Jaguar Dealer for routine servicing.

We holidayed in Palm Springs about 4 years ago and I was quite surprised at the number of Modern XK I spotted, especially in the mall car parks. From that observation, I concluded that there must be a healthy enthusiast club for the marque, along with some specialist knowledge to keep them healthy.

I have access to a service article for your model X-100, if you send me a PM with your email address, I can copy these to you and perhaps you could then get a local independent up to speed with your servicing needs.
