Hi,

I traded a Mitsubishi Pajero 3500GDI 4x4 (after 9 years of untroubled motoring), for a Jaguar XJ8 (3.2litre) 4 weeks ago. I read articles by Quinten Wilson and Jason Dawe, about the merits of a quality used XJ8. They aren't wrong. My vehicle is 10 years old, with 101,000 miles on the clock. One owner from Cheshire, and full service history. Manuals intact in a leather bound case, and a full set of keys/remote fobs.

Absolute wow to drive.post-22-127099576871_thumb.jpgpost-22-127099579821_thumb.jpg

Welcome! It seems quite quiet on here but it has potential to become massive, i only joined about a week ago.

I know what you mean about the wow drive. I used to love jap sports cars but since i got my S Type im completely converted and will stick to Jags from now on, its perfect blend of performance and luxury and i love it. I'd just love to upgrade to an S Type R. Will you upload some more pictures of your Jag for us all to enjoy?

Cheers for the welcome. The photos I posted are from the garage. I will upload some personal ones shortly. Glad to hear you are enjoying you S type.

eBay looks the best option for replacement parts, at not ridiculous Jaguar 'mark up prices'.

Cool i'll look forward to the pictures! I have seen many great bargains on eBay and i intend on modernising mine replacing the grill with an S type R grill, Changing the chrome bump strips to body coloured ones and a lip spoiler for the boot.

To make it look similar to this....
