Welcome to the club :)

I think it's location is below the grill, below the windshield on the drivers side. You have to remove the wiper arms, which requires a small tool, and 4 or 6 screws. If it has a pollen filter.

you will need to check with your dealer if a pollen filter exsists on a 1998 model
