Jaguar tell me that the aircon condenser on a 2006 Diesel XJ is not the same as the petrol version whereas Hella which makes Jag equivalent spares says that they are the same.

Is there anyone who knows the correct answer as the difference between the Jag recommended genuine part and the alternative is about GBP450.-
