Hi, I own a 1996 Jaguar Sovereign (X300; XJ series) and both the key fobs are broken. The push-in tabs at the back of the fob get progressively weakened when changing the batteries and they have snapped off on both fobs (in the same week!). Replacement fobs cost a fortune from Jaguar so - apart from gaffer tape which I am currently using - can anyone suggest how to repair them please? Failing that, the 2-button fob operates at 433.92 MHz and the part number is DBC11512; does anyone know of an inexpensive source for replacements? Many thanks.
