hi ..driving along the other night the car just cut out and wont start changed fuel filter had it on diaognostic machine coming up no faults.. it just turns over but will not fire up ...any ideas

EGR valve stuck open? Apparently that can cause non start problems.Are you euro 3 or 4?

You could try blanking the EGR to test.
