Hi guys I wondered if any one can shed any light on a rumble I have, not sure it is the wheel bearing as it is not constant. It comes in at about 50 and goes at about 70 or maybe just the road noise is now covering it up at that speed.... I have had the balancing done, tracking, new track rod ends... I am prob going to go for bearings next but as I said its not constant. I also wondered if it was the prop shaft needing balancing, I remember this issue years ago with a rear wheel drive ford... I just can't imagine mechs not putting prop back on right though... Anyway any ideas very welcome... Paul

Well the car is in the shop..... new wheel bearing, two new discs and pads, 4 point laser tracking and balancing, new rear bush new wiper arms and a 90k service, set me back a pretty penny but she should be good for a few miles now. Hope that !Removed! rumble has gone! Used Les Paul Jags in Woodford, never been there before but seem pretty professional, any stories anyone?

Hi Paul,

Can't say anything about Woodford, I'm across the other side of the country, not far from Hereford, I take the garage was a Jag dealership - I hope they've sorted the problem for you, let us know how you get on. I'll have my 90k service either at the end of the year or start of next, not sure whether to stick with the dealers or go independent.........

Best regards,

Dave
