Bought my first Jaguar, a nice metallic red with cream leather, it's an 04 plate and I have to say we have really enjoyed owning it thus far.  I was very surprised at the looks it gets and the interest people have in it, it is so comfortable to drive.  it's turned a long trip to work and a longer trip home in the traffic into a comfortable trip not a chore, it's more put a cd in sit back and enjoy the ride.  it's the only car I have ever owned that my wife has fallen asleep in on a long trip, fantastic comfort.

I hope to meet up with some of you as time goes by, if there are to be any meetings where we can swop information and enjoy our cars. :D

Kind Regards to all.

Old Bear.

Hi John,

Welcome to the club and Jag ownership, like you I have an 04 S-Type, which still brings a smile to my face when taking a bit of a drive :) , what model is yours?  I hope you're going to post a couple of pictures.

As to a meet, there are a few members from the midlands area who have expressed an interest in getting together - I think it needs a quorum to make it happen obviously posting it as a thread on here.

Best regards,

Dave

Hello Dave nice to hear from you, I will post some photos and model info as soon as I get back home, I'm working away at the moment so am missing my family and the car.

I've had a few issues with it and I have to admit I've been a bit silly and spent more money on it than I should, but I have always wanted one and now I have one.  I enjoy everything about the car, the shape, the colour, the trim colour and the way it sounds when driving.

Catch up soon Dave.

Kind Regards.

John.

Hi John,

Looking at trying to arrange a meet at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon on the 27th May, are you interested?

There's a thread in the Jaguars Owners Lounge - depending on the level of interest will depend on what we try to arrange with the Heritage Centre.

Best regards,

Dave

Good Morning John,

Good to see you're interested in meeting up, depending on numbers will depend on how we're able to play this, if less than 15 we'll just turn up but if more than that number we can speak to the Heritage Centre and try and get a discount for admission in to the museum part and also get a fenced off area where we can park as a club.

Just have to see what the uptake is in the next few weeks.

Best regards,

Dave
