1995 XJ6 3.2 Brake fluid light problem!!

 I have just bought a 1995 XJ6 3.2 and the brake fluid light on the dashboard does not go out, but the brake fluid is full..  Any suggestions please

It seems like a sensor is not reporting to the brake fluid light on the dashboard.

 

Some one with more expertise than myself will be able to help.  There are a lot of really expert members in the club.

Just another thought, James.  Is the connector to the Brake fluid reservoir dirty?  Just might need cleaning to get a good connection. 

 

Worth trying tomorrow.
