Just did a few adjustments to my beloved S Type.

Taking it from this:

I got rid of the chrome in favor of body colouring to enhance the road presence and went for a S Type R woven mesh grill in black. I sprayed and fitted it all my self and it really paid off!

What do you guys think?

i think it looks a lot better without the chrome on the front - have you done the same with the rear? did you just paint over the chrome then? looks good though!

Very nice S-type. Is the leaper spring loaded. I think it sets it off.

Good Job! I have the 04 S type sports which is all colour coded. It looks a completely different car to the ones with chrome. I have work for Jaguar in the VMC woodmill where we produce the wood veneers. My S type has carbon fibre instead of wood and i wasnt sure if i would like it as i love veneers especially Walnut but having had the car for a few months now i think its alot sportier with the carbon fibre

Nice job, The darker grill etc does look nice on the cars with the darker paintwork

I have gone the other way and added chrome, ie the grill, light surrounds, mirrors, door pillars, washer jets, door handles, badges..etc

I get a lot of positive comments from all ages
