Giving the car a once over ready for caravan towing. Car will be 10 this year. Check service history and no cam belt change. On internet search Jaguar main dealers have a package for cam belt change £375 all in at present. Booked in for Monday. Oil and filter change 2/7 ago. Under tray missing. Wheels off today to check brakes and discs. All in good Nick. Tow bar fitting Thursday. Thanks Martin. Things lookin good.

Getting the S type back today after having a new torque converter fitted. Will be having the tow bar fitted on Thursday, after you apparently as we had to put the fitting back due to problems with the car. Other than that it should be all ready for a trip out to Sherwood Forest at half term, somewhere reasonably close for a first time to see how the Jag performs.

New cam belt fitted by Jaguar dealers Guy Salmon Coventry. £375 deal. Clean air pipe also changed as split found. JAG now purring again ready to growl on open roads. M45 bit good.
