  2. I find Mayonnaise quite good for cleaning wooden tables. [Get the cheap stuff]. That might also work. About the only thing that Mayonnaise is good for! Peter.

  3. I am told there is a cleaning kit available, something like mild T cut, Probably from Halfords. Apparently this should be done about every six months. but don't quote me.

  4. Hi Neil, Sorry to hear about your troubles. Never experienced brake judder with my XF-S, though the bumpy ride is a rather well-known XF 'feature'. As you'll see from my posts elsewhere on this forum, I solved this ride problem by getting Spires to fit their 'Comfort' suspension to my car. No adverse effect on the excellent handling, but the ride is now as I think it should have been in the first place. As other members have noted, tyres can be critical. What wheel size are you running? - I believe that anything larger than 18 inch is likely to transmit excessive shock and vibration into the car. Best wishes, Martin

  6. It could be rear wheel bearing(s) if the noise is constant...a front bearing if the noise generally disappears when cornering. Worth looking at door and window rubbers to see if they are letting air through them....maybe use a hosepipe to spray water at the doors and windows and see if any water enters...then this maybe also where the air is entering?
