Hi Julian, My S Type does not have daytime running lights, but in mist spray and light fog I am aware that you need to be seen. I switch off auto and put on my dipped headlights. You would be surprised at the number of people who think that if they can see the car in front when giving a 10 yards gap, that they can be seen from 70 yards away. Us people originating from the wild uncultured north are less wild and more cultured than many people think. Peter Lancastrian in Exile.
