30 minutes with WD 40 and exercising the mirrors and the powerfold mechanisms now work perfectly :) I imagine the previous owner(s) never used them as the corrosion was horrible. Fine now though. Some silicon grease sprayed on after getting them moving with WD 40 will ensure that they never fail again. Thanks for the ideas chaps :)1 point

Thanks mate, got them done at Halfords, they dont fold back, there is a small spring clip on the underside of the blade, you just press that and the blade slides clear of the arm.1 point

When I did mine I found it easier to remove the arm1 point
