Hi Graham, and welcome to the club. I am thinking along the same line as Frank, for two reasons, the first being that when you nudge the tailpipe the sound would disappear, and the second is that the garage changed the heat shield. Regards, Peter.1 point

Hi Graham -- Welcome to the Club--You say you dont think its the exhaust but I seem to think that I would check that the exhaust isnt touching the body anywhere???? or if you have a exaust mount thats too tight .??? And after that I would check the engine mountings .??? Just a thought. Good luck Frank1 point
