Further to my initial post I have finally managed to get the car to a reputable Jaguar Independant and after diagnosis found that the car had, had its ECU replaced but from an earlier year and manual instead of auto and the light disabled in the software, now fitted with the correct ECU and light functioning, though still a slight problem with cruise1 point
