  1. Hi fellow Jag lovers, Well after only 50 years of admiring Jaguars, l have finally jumped in and got my own! A beautiful blue 2012 XF-S in dark blue and cream. What a car, had it for a month and I'm still finding new things to love. When I was 20 I worked for a British Leyland dealer in Croydon and had a 1977 pink 4.2 XJ as a runaround and have loved the marque ever since. Cheers. Chris

  2. Hello Jack, Welcome to the forum. Yes, I do and I really enjoy having a clean car with nice corrected paint. First job for winter protection was to check underneath and top up where necessary with various Dinitrol products. Took wheels off and washed them, removed arch liners, washed the car (BriteMax) double bucket, applied fallout cleaner (Korrosol), rinsed wheels and car, followed with a light claying (Auto Finesse), cleaner polish (Menzema) with a da, wipe with weak ipa solution, rinse, 2 coats of Bilt Hamber double speed wax, clean and protect rubber and plastic trim (Bouncers), clean glass (AG), clay and seal wheels (planet polish) dress tyres. ( hate doing wheels). Detailing spray (Bouncers Done and Dusted), for a bit of paint pop.

  3. The correct way is to modify the head and have hardened valve seats fitted, then you can use unleaded petrol without additives. I think the timing has to be adjusted as well. For occasional use Castrol valve master or Castrol valve master + work well.
