Hi Boys and Girls, What a great site this is. Just discovered it and you seem like a real friendly crowd. Don't yet own a Jaguar but hope to put that right within the next week. Probably go for an X Type 2008 model. Got my eye on a couple and hope to take a look at them in the next couple of days. One is a 2.2 D Auto Sovereign on an 08 plate. FSH and comes with 12mths warranty. 12 mths AA cover. Full service and MOT. Downside - 113,000 on the clock. High mileage diesels have never really bothered me (once owned a Citroen XM with 174,000 on it and it was sweet as a nut. Also drove another XM with a staggering 304,000 on it and you would never have known). However, would appreciate your thoughts on high mileage X Type's. But all things considered, by this time next week I'll hopefully own my first Jag. Can't wait. .

the Government is about to persecute diesels! That will cause a lot of vexation.
