  1. Hi Peter, It sounds like a great day was had! I'd be interested in a future meetings, including something in October. But as I'm on the Isle of Wight, it does present some logistical considerations! I had the pleasure of visiting the British Motor Museum in Gaydon last week, including the amazing Jaguar collection, which included the 'last of the line' STR I show below. I can't recommend it enough, any club member would love it I'm sure. So I'm also interested in the Jaguar breakfast meets Joe mentioned are held at the venue. If I had an excuse to be in the vicinity, perhaps we could get a few S-Types along and meet there? All the best, Russ

  3. Hi there Peter, I for one would be very interested in another meet up, as it was just sooooo good yesterday!!!! I did pop into Swansway and thank them for their hospitality, and breakfast etc, am quite sure a note from your good self would go down very well indeed with them I think any ''soot'' that may have been in / around the DPF has now been well and truly dispatched, a 303 mile round trip, and worth every millimetre of it. Many many thanks again for arranging it all for us Peter, Very Best Wishes, Malc ( Phosphor Blue )

  4. It Was a great day, made so by those who were there. I will thank Swansway Jaguar on behalf of the Club. The idea of an April meet annually springs to mind. I wonder if members would be interested in an October meet? Regards, Peter.

  7. Nice ones, Joe. A few more than me -- I was getting a lot of information from Mary Sayer about he Dad for inclusion in the book I am currently writing. I have included a whole chapter about Malcolm Sayer, as he has been somewhat forgotten. By the way, your S Type is rather immaculate! Regards, Peter.
