  1. Hi James, That's annoying for you. Personally I would take it back to them and point out the problem. If it happened after they fitted the part they should put it right. Hope you get it sorted. Kind Regards, Julie.

  2. This guy on this YT video shows you how to permanently disconnect it on the XE, I don't know if it's the same for the XF but might be worth a watch as if it is, it's a 30 second job to do it.

  3. I had my Audi plugged in and had it switched so it started automatically off and I pressed the button to turn it on. I can’t do it on the Jaguar as it gets automatic updates through the connectivity.

  4. I guess the 'dealer' will just say that they found a fault with the tyres so replaced them with correct size and speed rating. It's astonishing how many non franchise dealers have the attitude that 'tyres are tyres' irrespective of brand or quality. You mention that you have already had the alloys refurbished (presumably because they needed it), it might be that the dealer swapped the wheels (and tyres ?) from another car to avoid refurbing the originals ?

  5. Always difficult to make judgements from photos, the camera can make things look better than they are. Be careful of the receptionist - what does the dealer do if for some reason the tyres are illegal, they have cracking etc, no doubt you got a 12 month MOT. Reading your various threads it seems that from the start you have been unhappy with the car. Perhaps, you either need to accept what it is or sell it.

  6. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Did you see the car before buying it or buy it online? If online probably better argument. Can you see the number plate when the Dunlop tyres are on, would need a certain angle picture. Have you ask why they are different? Suspect will say issue with original tyres hence why they replaced.

  7. The folding mirrors were standard on my latest HSE so I guess they now realise the popularity. Folding rear seat was still an option though.

  8. You have to reset them as someone has switched them off. This link explains how. https://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/document/4N/2016/T19958/18377_en_GBR/proc/G1660140

  9. Premski. I wouldn't take it anywhere except straight back to the dealer. If you have someone else look at it before they do then you've given them a "get out of jail free" card and they may refuse to rectify it. The fact that you have have paid extra to get a 3 year extended warranty, you may as well take full advantage of it. I would have thought A/C would be covered!

  10. There is an emergency key in the key fob. There should be no reason he can't open the doors and release the bonnet catch!
