  1. In behind that grill is the air sensor and fan. Generally, the reason for the buzzing is a build up of dust. Try a squirt of compressed air from one of those computer cleaning cans.

  2. Hello I'm a newbie to the forum. I have a 2010 Jaguar XF Premium and I drove it had no problems what so ever parked it the next morning got in it to leave, it started just fine but the shifter knob won't raise up so I can't put it in gear. Has anyone else had this happen? What was the problem? Does anyone have any sugguestions on what might cause this?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  3. That's what we thought also. Good to know as long as it is the same model car it won't need to be reprogrammed. Thank you so much for your help!!

  5. I feel the advice given by Jaguar in the handbook for the car and/or on a sticker (usually on door pillars) is the correct way to go with tyre sizes. Best wishes and Regards, John

  7. You’re not likely to get an answer on a 8 year old thread. Here is a link to the ones I bought, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20x-ALLOY-WHEEL-NUTS-JAGUAR-S-TYPE-X-TYPE-CHROME-LUG-BOLT-STUD-QUALITY-20L/322551270259?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D279707e90cd84407af62051fd274c338%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D322551270259%26itm%3D322551270259%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2481888&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A31c8544d-e131-11e9-8a5f-74dbd180d657|parentrq%3A731334ab16d0a4b7b67e7f6dff7a4b99|iid%3A1

  8. I have experienced the same issues. I have drill and chiselled wheel nuts off with minimal if no damage to the alloys. But the best method is to hammer on a 17mm socket over the spinning wheel nut and undoing in the conventional way. Obviously the socket and wheel nut get ruined but its worth it in the long run.

  9. Hi all just a quick update on the wheel nut saga the nut that http://www.precisionautoparts.co.uk sent me seems to work a treat although the shaft is longer it will not protrude out the back of the wheel it is 1/2 mm short of the inside wheel flange but just to make sure I removed a wheel and fitted it with just the new nut torqued it up just to see if there was any movement wheel to hub it was OK so I have ordered the other 15 £29 and a set of McGard locking nuts If anybody wants to contact Precision Auto Parts the no is 01292 285935 contact name Kevin.

  10. That circuit board has burnt out, that’s the black bits. As far as I’m aware, they do not supply the circuit board separately. As long as you find the whole console from the same model car, it will simply be plug and play.
