  1. HI As above really, would get a 4 wheel alignment done, which will hightlight any issues and hopefully sort it might be also worthwhile getting it plugged in to Jaguar SDD, To check the active damping is working correct, which can make a massive difference cheers Joe

  3. Hi I have a 2008 2.7 Diesel XF, last year I had the stage one remapping done, the car was definitely smoother, more responsive and about a 15% better economy on the OPEN road, is traffic the consumption has not really changed, so far absolutely no issues, still very happy I did it. I am in South Africa so unfortunately I can’t recommend the guys who did it for me. Good luck

  4. Carl That would apply to me as well. I am reluctant to invest money in changing the mapping of my S-Type on the grounds of interfering with what was original mapping by Jaguar for the best overall result. When younger and power/performance was the objective with my Nissan SX 200`s and Skylines I was always keen to explore mapping etc. It has to be said though, these CA18`s, RB25`s, SR20`s were a different breed of engine strong Japanese engines that were nowhere near as fickle as the breed of electronic controlled engines of nowadays. Best Wishes and Regards, John

  5. You will need to get the fault codes read If you don’t have a code reader yourself, go to an independent garage to get them read. This will be a lot cheaper Otherwise it’s just guesswork

  6. Hi, My car started to lose coolant and the AC worked intermitted times. The DPF then showed red and full. I took my car to a nearby Jag enthusiast who told me the fan was faulty. I had it removed and tested by Bristol Auto Electric who said the PCB was faulty and they could not repair it. The guy helping me with the repair then got a price for a complete fan assembly including the motor / fan and housing at ~£650. The actual fan motor itself is Johnson Gate 500.0761 and I have a spare one off Ebay @£30. I'd rather fit a new one if possible. I have spoken to Revotec and asked if they do a kit to convert to different fan. They have no solution off the shelf but are looking in to it. BTW I have a Rover 75 and this is retro fitted with an excellent Revotec fan that cost me ~£160 and replaces the Siemens fan BMW fitted. The Siemens fans were known to fail at around 60k miles but luckily my Rover is a diesel and these are more resilient to the dreaded HGF which killed so many Rover petrol V6 engines. If anyone knows where I can a new fan motor I'd be really grateful. Many thanks, Jim
