  7. Hi Frank, I had the same issue with my previous XF. It was caused by a cracked inlet manifold. I don't remember the cost to replace it, but it wasn't exhorbitant.

  9. Good morning Around 2 months ago a family friend said we could take our car to the garage where he works to get the aircon regassed. He told me this would take around 45mins. I wasn't able to go so my wife took the car. She says the process only took 10mins and he only attached the top hose. She said she saw the display on the aircon machine and it read 100%. I saw the family friend the following day and he explained they the garage(Ford) had a new aircon machine that only required them to attach the top hose. I have no idea if this is correct but today my aircon ran out. It only lasted 2 months!! I'd appreciate your thoughts on this issue Many thanks

  10. Just did a one-hour drive to force regen of DPF thinking it may be the cause of the Restricted Performance message popping up. During the hour I did some relatively fast overtakes with no problem, 4km from home a less speedy overtake and up pops the message, very frustrating. Any ides please. I've ordered an iCarsoft LR V2.0 Jaguar OBD2 diagnostic scanner but it is coming from the UK and I live in Poland so won't be here until the 26th. Would like to resolve sooner.

  11. Greetings all! Last night I pressed ignition button, starter clicked once, interior lights came on but engine wouldn't start. I turned it off, made sure that there weren't any lights left on, tried again 2 more times without success, and finally had my wife take me to work at the hospital. This morning I tried the ignition button again, and NOTHING happened. I tried my wife's set of keys also without success. I tried to access the battery in the trunk to jump-start it with my wife's car but the trunk won't open with the fob button, the trunk button or the manual key. We can't access the trunk from the interior of the car as far as I know. Even the glovebox is locked shut so I can't access the user manual. Very frustrated, and humbly asking for help. Has anyone else had this problem or know where I could turn for a solution? All the best, Garrett Norvell
