  2. Hello everyone I have a very nice condition back box that is just taking up space. If someone has a need for it please let me know. No hidden agenda just want to save someone a little money if there's is in need of replacing. I know how expensive they are, I replaced it for a lighter weight exhaust. I had it checked with a camera inside for damage and it is in good order. I don't know if I can put my email but it is the best way to contact me. andrew5523@gmail.com

  3. Hi Julie Thank you, I don't know if its the isolation during covid that has affected people, but when I've asked around if someone wants an exhaust I get looked at like I'm up to something. I really just want to help someone save a few pounds. It's nice to know some people still recognise a gesture of help and not a con.

  5. Stop/start could be the battery is because it has not been for a good run and when you brought it home you had the heating and radio on. The wing mirrors could be that they were not chosen as a optional extra. This was the case with mine, Hope this helps

  6. Hi Mark, Sorry I only just saw this. I have an XJ and car had this problems but previous owner had a control box that he had not yet fitted. He got it a lot cheaper ,not from a dealer. Did you manage to solve the problem? Did you end up going through the dealer? Kind Regards, Julie.

  7. Hi There should be no lag what so ever with a supercharger, its allways on boost because its mechanically connected, theres no spooling up as like a turbo the supercharger is directly connected to the crank via a belt, so its allways creating boost proportianal to revs, the F-type uses a twin screw supercharger, which is perfect for the job and should create boost all the time if you have lag or its hesitant, there may be a issue, could be a split hose or air leak or even a slipping supercharger belt cheers Joe

  8. Hi, Jon. Thanks for your help but having investigated further the option was not taken up at purchase, so they are manual. Hey Ho. however, it has given me the chance to really investigate the vehicles electronics. so, getting to know the model as the days pass. Thanks again Paul

  9. My hazard lights have stopped working and it’s not the switch that’s the problem. Indicators work and all four flash when alarm activated from the fob. Had the boot wiring loom replaced some months ago due to boot not opening. Boot now opens on the fob and switch on dash but not on the sensor on the boot itself (are the two related). My independent Jag specialist seems to think so! He’s saying its a control box? £2k to replace new. My mot runs out end of this month and they need to be working to pass. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks Mark
